Elliott Wave Live: Bitcoin ATH, $AMD Soars 35%Oct 7, 2025

Stock markets are moving sideways in the US with the government still in shutdown, but we’ve seen some push to the upside on other global markets, so overall it looks like risk-on sentiment could be building — even with some political tension in France, which makes the situation a bit tricky for investors. That’s also why the dollar is not breaking out of its recent range yet. For now, we’re observing that the weekend gap around 97.70 on the dollar index could still get filled, so maybe we’ll see a bit more dollar weakness.

But rather than looking at dollar, investors are more focused on Metals, which are in strong recovery still, as well as cryptos that are breaking out. Its also worth mentioning a big move up on AMD after OpenAI deal.
